Food Sex & Art (“we”, “our”, “the site”) values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly. This includes your email when you subscribe to the newsletter or send a contact form, and your name, shipping address, billing details, and order contents when you make a purchase.
Information collected automatically. Server logs (IP address, browser, referrer, pages visited) and, if you’ve opted in via the cookie banner, anonymized analytics data via Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To fulfill orders and communicate about them (transactional email).
- To send the newsletter — only if you’ve explicitly opted in.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve the site (aggregate analytics, with your consent).
We do not use your data for behavioral advertising and we do not sell or rent your information.
Third parties we share data with
We share the minimum data required to operate the site:
- Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe and never to us. Stripe is GDPR-compliant. Stripe’s privacy notice.
- Printful — fulfillment. We share your name, shipping address, and order contents so they can produce and ship your order. Printful’s privacy notice.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, contact-form responses). Hosted in
us-east-1. - Sendy (hosted by us, on AWS) — newsletter delivery if you opt in. We retain your email and subscription state until you unsubscribe.
- Google Analytics — only if you’ve granted analytics consent via the cookie banner. IP anonymization is enabled.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on forms. Only loaded after marketing consent.
No data is sold to anyone, ever.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Necessary — keep the site functioning (your cart, your cookie preference). Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, off by default. Requires your consent.
- Marketing — Cloudflare Turnstile, off by default. Required to submit forms; consent prompted at point of use.
You can change your choices any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
