As a kid… I remember the word “doctor” being synonymous with a visual of a “white male”–even though, during my very young formative years I had an Indian “female pediatrist”.

I argue that representation matters because of its influence. Such a POSITIVE influence of showing black, brown, and all colors of artists should be encouraged.
We could learn so much from each other.
